Who can't have treatment?



ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON WHO CAN HAVE TREATMENT?

Client safety and well-being is paramount and as with any procedure, there are certain medical conditions which restrict a persons' ability to undergo some of the treatments which we offer.

 

Although the list below is not exhaustive it will give you a good indication of whether or not you can have any of the treatments that we provide. 

 

Shockwave Contraindication

 

1. Pregnant women or women who may be pregnant or breastfeeding

2. Cardio problems

3. Patients with vascular diseases

4. Patients with pacemakers

5. Patients with thrombosis and or thrombophlebitis

6. Patients being treated with anticoagulants

7. Coagulation disorders

8. Patients with a history of cancer

9. Carriers of large metal prostheses

10. Diabetics

11. Epileptics

12. Cortisone Therapy

 

 

Cavitation Contraindication

 

 

1. Pregnant women or women who may be pregnant or breastfeeding

2. Cardio problems

3. Patients with vascular diseases

4. Patients with pacemakers

5. Patients with thrombosis and or thrombophlebitis

6. Patients being treated with anticoagulants

7. Patients who have undergone a transplant

8. Malfunctioning of the kidneys

9. Patients with a history of cancer

8. Carriers of large metal prostheses

9. Diabetics

10. Epileptics

11. Excess Alcohol

12. Autoimmune conditions

 

 

Radio-Frequency Contraindications

 

1. Pregnancy or women who may be pregnant or breastfeeding

2. Scarring, infection of the treatment area

3. History of keloid scarring

4. Use of medication known to induce photosensitivity

5. Fragile skin

6. Patients with tumours

7. Patients with Autoimmune conditions

8. Patients with a history of cancer

9. Patients with low/high blood pressure

10. Blood-thinning medication

11. Recent skin peels

12. Recent hair removal

13. Skin thinning medication

 

 

HIFU Contraindication

 

 

1. Pregnancy, trying to become pregnant and breastfeeding.

2. Heart conditions including pacemaker

3. Liver or Kidney disease

4. Diabetes

5. Epilepsy

6. History of Cancer

7. Skin cancer

8. Infection or skin sensitivity in the area

9. Fragile and excessive dryness

10. A tendency to keloid scar tissue

11. Regular anti-inflammatory medication

12. Patient who has less than 1cm of subcutaneous fat in treatment area

13. Patient who has a Hernia in the treatment area.

 

 

Cryolipolysis Contraindications

 

 

1. Pregnant women or women who may be pregnant or breastfeeding

2. Cardio problems

3. Raynaud’s syndrome

4. Patients with vascular diseases

5. Patients with pacemakers

6. Patients with thrombosis and or thrombophlebitis

7. Patients being treated with anticoagulants

8. Patients who have undergone a transplant

9. Patients with a history of cancer

10. Carriers of large metal prostheses

11. Diabetics

12. Epileptics

13. Excess Alcohol

14. Skin Thinning medication

15. Water retention

16. Autoimmune conditions

 

ALL CLIENTS MUST BE 18 YEARS AND OVER TO UNDERGO TREATMENTS
